About DYA

Welcome to the 5th annual DYA Summer Musical Theatre Camp. This camp is designed to bring your child excellent instruction in acting, vocal performance and movement as well as workshops in set design, make up, play-writing and audition skills. All of this will culminate into a professional quality performance at the end of the camp. We believe the best experience for young professional is to have a professional experience.

DYA is an educational program for aspiring theater and musical theater performers. We provide training in all areas involved including acting, singing, musicianship, dancing, movement, character development and the creative process. Education is provided through classes and hands on training performing in full scale theatrical productions.

DYA is committed to not only creating artistic awareness and involvement but also developing young professionals. Our history is full of students going on to full time professional careers in professional theater, several of which have appeared on Broadway and National Tours. The majority of our high school seniors go on to major in theater or musical theater in college.
